Jakarta – Pembalap Red Bull KTM Ajo, Pedro Acosta, berhasil mencatatkan waktu tercepat dalam sesi latihan kedua (P2) Moto2 Austin di Circuit of The Americas (COTA), Texas, pada Sabtu (15/4/2023). Pembalap asal Spanyol ini diikuti oleh pembalap Elf Marc VDS Racing Team, Tony Arbolino, di posisi kedua, dan pembalap Pons Wegow Los40, Aron Canet, di posisi ketiga.
Sementara itu posisi keempat dan kelima masing-masing ditempati oleh pembalap Italtrans Racing Team, Joe Roberts, dan pembalap GASGAS Aspar Team, Jake Dixon. Musim ini Pedro Acosta diprediksi akan menjalani persaingan ketat dengan Tony Arbolino yang baru saja menjuarai seri kedua musim ini.
